Anti Amoy Pawis for Kulit And Bulilit and A Giveway!

Having two spirited kids is fun! They rowdy, playful,  and full of energy but when they get all sweaty and amoy pawis... that's a different story.
Whether they're indoor or outdoor, especially now that it's summer, getting all sweaty and sticky is what they are after an hour or two.  And there's no better way but to give a shower with the only  anti-amoy pawis bath products I know, Lactacyd BabyBath for my bulilit R and Lactacyd ToddlerTubs for my kulit Y.
And I love smelling them after taking a bath! No more amoy pawis and say hello to amoy baby! We, moms, love that smell right? No matter how makulit my bulilits are
Kulit!
Bulilit!
Boys are really more malikot noh? And Lactacyd makes me not worry about him to be amoy pawis! And because we're spreading the ANti Amoy Pawis Campaign, I'm giving away 5 packs of Lactacyd Goodies like the photo below!

Hi-5 Alive!

December was a busy month because of the series of bazaars we joined. I don't know if we'll do it again this year! Since I knew it would be hard to spend family and quality time with the kids, I planned our quality time on weekdays when bazaars aren't that busy, hence watching the Barbie Musical and Hi-5!

When I knew about Hi-5 coming again to Manila, I hurriedly logged online and booked our tickets. Hi-5 now have three new members. Actually two pala, kasi when we watched last 2012, Dayen was already "new". Labo. Haha! Y enjoyed the first time we watched so I knew Y would love to watched it again. The first time was at SM MOA, last year was at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura. Not the best venue.

Anyways, we had our ingress first in Rockwell then we left BOS there and we went to SM Aura just in time for the show. Ang daming tao! And people were going crazy with the souvenir merchandises at isa na ako dun!
Hi-5 clapper for Php350! We also bought a backpack and a pillow. Plus a meet and greet. Can you spell BANKRUPT?

After buying the clapper, we lined up to get ready to go inside. Y got super excited when she heard Hi-5 songs playing in the background. I was also excited because she was excited haha. Nothing makes me happier than see her happy!
What I love about the show is that all the songs they sang the old songs. Each of the new members had their own solo song part.
It was a great show! Y enjoyed it and watches the videos I took over and over again. We also got to meet Hi%! Ako ang excited! Thank you Hi-5 for coming again to the Manila.

Happy 29!

It's my last year in the line of 2 age. Malapit na din ako mawala sa calendaryo! Hihi. I don't really care about aging or getting old, what I'm afraid of is death and that I won't be able to take care and see my children grow up. Maybe I'm just saying that now, let's wait and see til I turn 40. Hehehe...

Year after year of celebrating my birthday, it's becoming more simpler, quieter, and less of a big deal. It used to be about me, now it's all about the family. I want a spa day if it only weren't for our current yaya situation, I would have gone on a me-day!

On the birthday itself, I didn't really know how to celebrate. We had little situation at home that by the time we left the house it was already 2PM. All I wanted was to eat at Mamou hehe!

We had light snacks first at McDonalds because Y wanted to eat at "McDoc" and I was hungry also!
We went to Power Plant first to buy some things. Bought Y some books at National Bookstore, bought the kiddies some treats and snacks at Healthy Options and tried a pair of Anthology London studde!
I'm so proud of myself for not giving in and buying this. It's super nice though. I still want a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's Skulltini!

Left Power Plant at 8PM for our 830PM reservation at Mamou. We were a bit late and Y was sleepy already. She was getting antsy na, buti na lang there was butter (yes, butter!!!) to distract her.
Had a great dinner with my loved ones. And Y met a new play mate!
Guess who's actor son this is...
We would have ate dessert at another shop but it was late and the kids were sleepy!

Birthday gift? I didn't ask for any, when I'm surrounded by love and my family! (Promise! Though, I want a pair of JC or Anothology hihi) Kidding aside, I bought myself (well, for the family also) a new camera during my HK trip last week. Parang pre-birthday trip na din pala yun noh?

Happy 29th to me! :)

Happy 2nd Birthday to A&D! And Y's Sick :(

Yes it's my blog's 2nd birthday! While I have some giveaways planned and scheduled, I can't get to them yet as my dear daughter Y is currently sick.

We went to the ER twice yesterday because of high fever. Her temp is at the 39 to 40 range which is really scary especially for us because she has a history of febrile seizure. We can't keep her temp down even with the paracetamol and the constant wiping down with cold water. Hay... hirap talaga when kids get sick!
Our trusty thermometer and Vapor Soove
She bounced back last night then the fever came back when it was time for bed time. Gone this morning, sky high again this lunch and now she's ok nanaman and playing. I hope her temp will normalize na. I think I lost weight from carrying her for most of the time, mababali na ata balakang ko!
Playing doctor with Mickey Mouse
She also has cough and colds. Hay. Virus now are days are something else noh? #lechengvirus Ang titindi! Hitting one kid at a time. Hope your kids are all healthy and fine.

Hoping to get rest tonight, if the fever doesn't come back, that is. And hoping to blog again tomorrow!

Hope Y gets well soon and happy birthday again to my blog!

Happy 26 months, my silly little girl!

Y's Gap Kids x DVF Loot

It may be 7 months after the Gap Kids x DVF collection came out but I haven't stopped wishing I got a few pieces for Y. I see Manila Fashion Observer's Berry and Paola's little S oh so cute and chic in their Gap Kids x DVF!
When I passed by 158 Designer's Blvd on my to the bathroom in Lucky Chinatown, I knew I had to go in! I was so giddy! I was so excited while Y was clueless haha! They had a few dresses in different styles in broken sizes. I made Y try 3 dresses and a pair of sandals.

Some of the clothes Y tried.
And here's Y wearing the clothes! :)
The prices were at Php600-800 off the original price, which was pretty good na I think. The BOS was clueless also but he knew I wanted to buy all 3. He saw it in my eyes. Haha! I asked the SA if they have a installment offering and they do! 3 months 0% for a minimum of Php3000! So I bought the 3 dresses! Yay! :)

Hihi, this reminds me of Y. Pwede pala mag mowdel si Y!
They also got other Gap Kids and Gap Baby clothes and shoes all on sale! I think this is my new favorite store! I looked online as to where are other branches of 158 Designer's Blvd, ATC and SM Southmall has one. Saan pa? I want to go to other stores to look for more Gap Kids x DVF!!!

Weekend, Baby!

Weekends are always precious for me. It's my only time to spend with the family, see my friends, my parents, my nephew and niece.

Saturday morning play time with Y. I'm so glad I bought these play food from IKEA during my recent trip! I think I enjoy them more than Y! :)

I gave R a bath. And I remembered I haven't taken R's monthly photo, hence this very baduy photo. I always wanted to have a photo of  R wrapped in a towel only. Nagmamadali kasi, kaya ayan! Not so nice. Bawi tayo next month!
There are days or time in a day that R cries straight for 3 minutes. Not the irritating kind of cry but because he wants to be carried. I always tell the BOS to wear him na lang, ayaw niya. Last Saturday, he tried it. Ayun natuwa. R was so cute!

Later that afternoon, I went out with the kids to see my HS barkada. My friends since elementary! We traveled to Pasig.. traveled talaga kasi it's so far away from us, buti na lang there's no traffic! We just hanged out at their new place. I played with my inaanak which is just a month older than R.

Y enjoyed the big space. I brought her toys with us so she won't get bored. R was super behaved as usual. He just slept in the high chair/napper/rocker. We chatted over Happy Lemon and Tostitos and had dinner later that night and went home at 10PM. :)

Where Y played. Katakot fez ni yaya
Goddaughter, C!
Cutie pie Y!
My well-behaved boy
Sunday, we had lunch at Buffet 101. No photos. Hay.. Y was so difficult. I had to write a separate post on that. She won't eat or just sit down. She'll cry and she wants to be carried ALL THE FREAKING TIME. I can't eat properly. My body and arms are aching from all the carrying.

After lunch, we went to the Mobler sale and bought Y an easel. A super belated birthday gift. I want to buy it when I was in Hong Kong, buti na lang hinde. My mom would have killed me haha!

I wanted also wanted to buy a chair and table but found it a bit expensive na, it was not on sale. I'll save muna then go back for those or ask a friend in SG to buy it for me!

How about you? How's your weekend?

Mimickry

I bought this new set of plastic cups and glasses for Y at IKEA. We were playing yesterday morning then she did this.
And said "pump ni mommy". She sees me do this in the morning. She asked me one time what it is, I told her it's a breast pump and she remembered it ever since. Smart kid!

How Our Great Weekend Went

Our schedule last weekend was full. I was sort of dreading Saturday because of the doctor's appointment and the x-ray for Y. But nonetheless, it was a great weekend!
H&M top, SM pants
Saturday was our scheduled appointment with our pedia-cardiologist. I was really expecting the worst even if I have read so many website that says heart murmurs are common with infants.
Our pedia-cardiologist is Dr. Edison Ty. He was referred to us by our pedia. He also has a clinic in Manila Doctor's Hospital, MWF. We went to his CGH clinic which is located at the new Medical Arts Building. Good thing there was no line so after filling up our information sheet we were ushered na inside his clinic.
He thoroughly checked everything with R. I was nervous all the time he was checking R. After he finished checking, he sat down and explained to us what a murmur is. He said that children with a heart disease, 90% of them have murmur while children with a heart murmur doesn't always mean they have a heart disease but it is of an innocent murmur. It's very normal and we don't have to do anything special or treatment. It will eventually go away, we just don't know when. And with that, I heaved a very very big SIGH! A sigh of RELIEF! We're going back after 6 weeks again for another check-up! Yay! :) This made me super happy!
Saw this on our way out!
Next agenda was to have Y's x-ray. We had a failed attempt last week so we're doing it again. We went to National Children's Hospital because I read and saw that they have a nice x-ray room for kids with Barney painted on the wall but sadly we can't have our x-ray there unless the request came from them. So we have to go to a laboratory talaga to have her x-ray.

But first, we had lunch first. We met up with my sisters in QC to have lunch! I was excited to see Y's cousin G!
Cute nila diba?
We had lunch at Kao Chi in Retiro. We had a great lunch! They were running around the restaurant and screaming! Fun! I wanted to spend more time with them but we need to have Y's x-ray pa and have to go home right after.
Yum!
We went to Hi-Precision in Del Monte Ave. since we were already in the area. I like that the place is big and nice. Not like the laboratory we went to last week which was dark and creepy plus the technician was masungit! The technicians at Hi-Precision were nice. Y's x-ray was SUCCESSFUL! Wuhoooo! Though she cried and cried during and after, nakuhaan naman and that's the most important thing and it was covered by my company's HMO!

The BOS and I rewarded ourselves with milk teas from MoonLeaf! Hehe.. It was good.
Sunday!
Baby A's Christening! Up and about early. My sister told me to go early to the church because I had to take their photos because they didn't hire one. I'm starting to liking dressing up R. Most of his clothes are hand-me-downs, some are gifts from my friends, I only bought the basic ones. So today was an opportunity to dress him up!
Gingersnaps shirt and H&M pants
Gingersnaps Tee, SM Tutu, Florsheim Shoes
Christening was at Sanctuario de San Jose in Greenhills. Here's the prettiest baby there is!
I was suppose to be the official photographer then Y won't let me go. Hay... takot sa madaming tao at lalake kasi ang anak ko. So no choice but my dad has to take over taking photos. It was a short ceremony only. Then we all had lunch at Lugang!

I just really had to commend Lugang for being a very kid-friendly resto! Our server gave Y her own set of plates!
Everything IKEA hehe
I said I would take photos of our food so I can blog about it, I took 2 photos then LUMAMON na ako and forgot hahaha!
Still the best xiao long bao in Manila for me!
Tapioca Milk Tea!
Then while eating, my BIL pointed out that Anne Curtis was also there in the same resto. We were on the 2nd floor and her table was right below us so we took pictures of her hehe.. paparazzi lang ang pegaloo! She's so pretty and sexy!
We went home after lunch! Who wouldn't love to have afternoons when your kids are like this?
Hope you had a great weekend too!
