Sanicare Introduces its First Brand Ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal Plus Mommy, Kitchen and Beauty Hacks!

When I became a homemaker, I started doing my own grocery. I got acquainted with different products and brands and and as I do it often, I became more aware of the brands I grab from the shelves and I eventually stick with it. One of those brands I am loyal to is Sanicare! My husband is very particular with tissue papers, he wants thick and strong sheets, that's why we always get Sanicare. While R loves their baby wipes because it's in his favorite color, green!
Last July 25, Sanicare invited us mom bloggers to a very intimate event where we got to see the the full range of Sanicare products from the Kitchen Hygiene and Bathroom Hygiene Lines to the Personal Hygiene and Baby Lines. We also got to learn about about cleanliness and hygiene for the family and a few mommy, kitchen and beauty tips and hacks from Sarah Tirona, Frances Sales and Shari Macainag.
Here's Sarah sharing mommy and baby hacks to us. Easy hacks you can do with things you have at home!
Frances sharing kitchen hacks and tips using Sanicare kitchen towels. Such a versatile product!
Shari shared her beauty tips using cotton buds and kitchen towels as well. Here she's showing us Sanicare's disposable toilet seat cover which I super LOVE and you can actually flush this in the toilet!
We did some arts and crafts at each station which we got to take home!

The highlight of the event was a big first for Sanicare as well. Sanicare introduced its first ever brand ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal! I'm a big fan of her! I've read her blog, I have her book, watched her on PBB and now I follow her and her daughter Lucia on her IG stories.
You can never go wrong with Sanicare as it is made from 100% virgin pulp that has no artificial whiteners and no elemental chlorine! Only the safest and most hygienic for our family!
According to Sanicare Marketing Director Ms. Lea Sio Pacis, Bianca is the perfect choice to represent the brand and not just because she has been a long-time Sanicare user. “Bianca represents the moms of today. She is independent and hardworking but her priority is always caring for her husband and baby,” said Ms. Pacis.
The lovely Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi was the host for the event. Her babies are so cute too!
During the Expo Mom last May, one of the booths I spent the most of my shopping time was at the Sanicare booth! I was surprised to see their new product offerings, which is mostly for babies! I bought a Hygiene Kit (includes a roll of tissue, disposable toilet seat cover,..) which I brought to our trip to Ilocos (read about the trip here), so useful especially for bathroom stopovers.
Bianca raved about her Sanicare favorites which no doubt will also become any mom's favorite, like the Jumbo Cotton Balls. When my kids were babies, I used the ready made cotton balls but they're too small, so sometimes, I buy the big cotton pack and asked my yaya to roll cotton balls while the baby is asleep. Haha! With Sanicare's Jumbo Cotton Balls, you don't need to anymore!

Before the program ended, we had a fun Q&A game to test our hygiene knowledge. Our table was the competitive moms table, hindi pa tapus ang question, may answer na kami agad! Hence, we won tickets to Kidzania! Hahaha! Yay for our kids!!!
We're having so much fun. Halata naman diba? Bungisngis kaming lahat. Hahaha! Thank you Sanicare for our Kidzania tickets. You made us moms happy!

A&D Binondo Finds: Mandarin Supermarket

One of the perks of living in Manila is that Binondo is not that far (wag lang traffic. Hehe!). My favorite stops in Binondo are Shin Ton Yon, Wai Ying, Shopper's Mart, Shin Tai Shiang, Happy Delicious, DEC and Mandarin Supermarket. Then there's QuickSnack in Carvajal and Ying Ying in Dasmariñas. I always frequent these places but always forget to take photos and write about them so I've decided to feature my Binondo favorites!

Today, I'm featuring one of my favorite groceries in Binondo, Mandarin Supermarket! Have you ever been there? Oh you will love it!!!
Mandarin Supermarket is located on the ground floor of a condominium I forgot the name of. Hehe! It's the condominium beside Salazar Bakery.

One of the many reasons why I love going to Mandarin is they offer products that you can only find in their grocery.
Left: Vitasoy in small, medium, or large, in malt or plain flavors. I like getting the small one for Y's baon. For the small and medium sizes, you buy them in bulk. 8's for the small ones and 6's for medium ones.
Right: Juice boxes! I always buy the Vita Lemon Tea, Vita Chrysanthemum Tea, Hi-C Grapes and Hi-C Peach! They're also sold by 6's but you can also purchase them in singles that can be found in their chiller.
There's also bottled green tea, fresh milk, more juice and more!
There's assorted chips, biscuits and what nots. I always buy the corn chips and want-want for the kids!
I always check aisle by aisle because there's always something new!
One of my favorite sections is the milk tea section! My favorites are Lipton Gold and the one beside on on the upper left and also the one on the left most on the second row.
There's also Ovaltine, Milo and Horlicks and Horlicks candy!
Take your pick at condiments like black vinegar, soy sauce and other special sauces!
I have more finds to share but don't have photos. Haha! I was not sure if taking photos was even allowed LOL. I also buy my Nissin Instant Noodles, Sate Barbeque Sauce and other condiments I used at home. I love Mandarin Supermarket that I've brought my mommy friends here. Who doesn't love going to groceries more than moms, right? Heehee! I'll do a part two when I my grocery again here but if you happen to be going to Binondo, plan a visit to Mandarin Supermarket!
My favorite Hi-C flavors!

Mandarin Supermarket is located at 777 Ongpin St., Manila. Happy shopping!

A&D Finds: Lively and Cheery Finds at The Paper Stone and Cute Little Backpacks from Herschel Kids

Who loves paper, notebook, and stationeries?! Me! Paper makes me happy and I know a lot of my friends feel the same way too. I grew up collecting stationeries, pencils, erasers, notebooks and I still have them and kept them in my room in Laguna. It's a 90s kid thing siguro no? I remember we used to frequent Loft in Hong Kong when we were kids and would stay there for an hour just looking around. And I think I have found a similar wasteland here!
Paper Stone sent me these super cute notebooks and stickers. Y wants them too!
A sticker album, notebook, and stockers!
Rainbows and clouds. If Paper Stone exists when I was in college, I would have this as my notebook for sure!
Macaron and alphabet stickers that can be stick on to...
this Sticky Tales sticker album! I had a few sticker albums when I was younger and this brought back so much memories! I'll give this to Y when she's a little bit older. :)
Paper Stone, originally from Singapore, is a stationery and gift item brand with original and liveliest and cheeriest designs and illustrations fit for all ages. I've never been to any Paper Stone store yet but I've been wanting to! I've only seen the store from their FB Page and OMG! I am sure I won't leave Paper Stone empty handed!
Oh those wrapping papers! Be still my heart. (Photo from Paper Stone Facebook Page)

I've promised myself I'll visit a Paper Stone store but I still can't find the time. I will really soon and hoard everything! Heehee! Why don't you check it out and tell me about it? :)

Paper Stone has branches in Glorietta, Alabang Town Center & UP Town Center! Follow and like them @thepaperstoneph!

Another cute gift we received was a pair of Herschel Supply Co. bags for the kids. BOS was a bit envy because he wants a Herschel bag for himself. He said he'll just borrow R's bag na lang heehee!
Herschel's story started in Scotland in the 1900s by a couple, Peter and Annie Cormack, who were barrel makers by trade. They immigrated to a beautiful town outside Herschel, whose population today is counted at 30 residents. Today after more than a century, the great grandchildren of Peter and Annie remain in the business of manufacturing. Instead of barrels, backpacks and bags are now created.

The backpacks have been with me for a few months now but the kids only got to use it last week during our Baguio trip. I asked them to pick which one they want para walang away (rather than me "assigning" which bag goes to who) They won't leave without them! I asked them to put whatever they want in their backpacks: toys, pens, papers, just as long as it's not heavy (because I want them to learn to carry their own bags).
Left: Heritage Backpack in Chambray Crosshatch
Right: Survey Backpack in Red Shift/Navy Rubber

The size of the backpack is perfect for short trips to the mall and for travelling. I love the classic silhouette of the Heritage Backpack and the signature style of the Survey Backpack! Both feels sturdy and made of quality material. The kids have so much lunch boxes and mini backpacks and there's really a difference when you buy branded and non-branded ones. I really hope these Herschel bags can withstand the everyday wear and tear because I am sure small backpacks would be handy to have in your kids' closet.
The Survey Backpack is just right for Y. Yes, they wore their backpacks while golfing. Heehee!
While the Heritage Backpack is still a little big for R, he still loved it! He was excited to bring his toy cars to Baguio!
Just "some" of the things inside R's bag: Babiators, toy cars and a windbreaker which he gets mad when he saw it inside his bag.

Maybe BOS and I should also get ourselves a Herschel bag each to match the kids noh? Now I have an idea what to give BOS on Christmas... wag lang niya to mabasa. Heehee!
