The Little Dapitan at Ayala Malls Cloverleaf

Dapitan Arcade has been one of my go-to places whenever I need new decors or accents for the house or new baskets and crates for my shelves in Common Room. It is a shopping haven! I love shopping at Dapitan Arcade because there's a lot of options and the prices are very pocket-friendly too! Now that Christmas traffic is upon us, going to Dapitan Arcade can be a feat!

Fret not! Ayala Malls Cloverleaf is bringing Dapitan Arcade closer to you with the Little Dapitan! A bazaar featuring the best of Dapitan Arcade - from Christmas decors, home accents and decors, local handicrafts made by local artisans and more. The Little Dapitan will be open starting this October until December! What I like about it is, it's right beside Cloverleaf! You can park in the mall or park right outside it (open parking). And when you're done shopping, you can go back to the mall to shop more, watch a movie or eat at the many varieties of restaurants.
Little Dapitan at Cloverleaf is right outside the mall. Exit where Uniqlo store is.
It is in a open, warehouse-like venue. It is well-lit, the aisles are wide enough and it was easy to go around.
Can you guess what I bought? I went around three times before deciding on what to buy!
A place for you to take your photos! I love the rattan lamps!

I like that there's only about 20 stalls more or less. There's not much of repeating/redundant products which makes shopping so much easier. Better for the sellers too! I'm the type of shopper who gets overwhelmed or anxious when there's a lot of choices that I ended up not buying anything! Are you like that too?
Plastic flowers and plants for those who has black thumb like me! Haha!

There's a lot of selection for Christmas decors too! I honestly cannot decide on what to get. But here are a few that caught my eye.
This is where I got something for our house!
There's a stall that sells room spray, linen spray, hand soaps, soy candles and more that is perfect for gifting this Christmas! You can mix and match then put it a wooden box (sold separately)! I love their design labels and the scents are pretty good too!

If you are looking for crates, there's a stall selling crates in different sizes!
This stall has this gold decors that can be used for lighting or as is. They have cupcake towers and more! They also do customized works!
There's also a wide selection of bags and wallets. They make great gifts for your officemates, staff and friends!
I also saw these super cute pots for your cactus or succulents! They are hand painted. So pretty, right?

So what did I get? Since I cannot decide on what Christmas decors I want for our home, I just bought what I really needed. I hoarded these wire baskets! I need it for my shelves in Common Room (that's 4, soon to be 5 branches) hence, the quantity! I was able to get a good price because I got a lot! I actually need to go back and buy some more!
The only Christmas decor I bought was this pair of banana-leaf like white Christmas tree! It was love at first sight so I got it na! :)

Thank you Spark It for the invite! I haven't been out on an event in so long. I also haven't written for a long while now! I enjoyed shopping and I will definitely go back for more!

How We Spent Our Mother's Day Weekend: Storytelling at Gap and The Sexy Chef Cooking Demo

How did you spend Mother's Day Weekend? It was a busy weekend for us. Event, lunch, event, dinner. It was a busy weekend for us!

First event was a Storytelling Event at Gap Shangri-La! Gap released their Paddington Bear X Gap Baby Collection and the Project Mom Authors Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Bianca Araneta-Elizalde were the guest storytellers.
Super cute collection! Look at that jacket!
While waiting for the event to start, Y had  her arms painted with a Paddington Bear!
She asked for flowers so there! :)
Then the Glam-O-Mamas came to read a short excerpt from a Paddington Bear book.
Thank you Bianca and Amanda for that short and sweet afternoon of storytelling!

The next day, we had Mother's Day lunch with my family then we're off to another event before capping off our Mother's day with ramen night with my family!

I asked the hubby to take the kids to ride a train ride while I attend a short cooking demo by The Sexy Chef. I was with Patty, Jackie and Belle! We were able to try and taste the dishes they cooked. And it was good ha!
The Sexy Chef
Tofu Sandwich which tastes like Egg Mayo Sandwich!
Jap Chae
Malunggay Shrimp Fried Rice
Eating all those sample dishes made me even more fuller from lunch but the dishes were really good. I hope I can replicate at home! After the cooking demo, we all trooped to Glorietta's Mom Wellness Fair to check out the booths and activities!
It's an afternoon well spent with the SoMoms! Thank you Janice for inviting us!

A Happy Hot Happy Easter!

We skipped Easter festivities last year but this year we went full force and joined not one but two Easter events! Ambisyosa ang nanay!
We went to Blue Leaf Filipanas's Easter Carnival in the morning then to Greenbelt's Easter Party in the afternoon.

This was R's first Easter event and Y's second one but first time to join the Easter Egg Hunt so you see why I was an overachieving mother. Hehe!
It was my first time to go to THe Blue Leaf Filipinas and it was really huge, a great place to have your parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
Nice outdoor area for your garden party or for cocktails!
Y enjoyed the mini playground!
A mini merry-go-round all kids loved riding!
Two huge inflatables fit the place! There were also two smaller inflatables ones which R had a blast playing at!
Food Booths and Game Booths
Entertainment by Ateinza Brothers
This is where R had so much fun!

I have no photos of the egg hunting because I was carrying R while egg hunting. We also didn't bring a basket or anything to put the eggs in so mega panic when we were egg hunting! I only have photos of the eggs hahaha!
Yaya put all the egg she and Y got on the kids' backpack!

There was also a magic show. I was feeding Y lunch so no photos din heehee! The kids had so much fun at the  slides and inflatables! We stayed for awhile after eating because the little one won't leave the little inflatable!

We left Blue Leaf Filipinas around 1PM and off to Greenbelt we went! From an air conditioned place to a super hot outdoor event, it was a bit of torture, but when it's all about the kids, I don't complain!
Greenbelt Easter Party at Greenbelt 3 Park! There were fresh drinks, cupcakes and ice cream!
Cupcakes from Vanilla Cupcakery!
Baskin Robbins Ice Cream was perfect for hot afternoon!
There were also a few booths for arts and crafts!
There was bunny ears for everyone! And that's the egg we designed!

By 3PM, we went to Greenbelt 2 Park where the Eggziting Egg Hunt will happen. Y was super excited! The rules were get the same eggs as the color of your bucket. We had pink and green but since parents can't accompany the kids mean R can't join the hunt :( So it was only Y. It was her first time (read my other entry about this emotional moment for me here) but I'm super proud that she was able to follow the instructions but since purple is one of her favorite colors, she got purple eggs too haha!
Yay for Y!

We got so much candies now at home! Haha!Apparently, we won for the most crafty bunny but we already left kasi it was so hot I don't want to stay longer anymore. Hehe! We had a hot and fun Easter. We'll probably join again next year and hopefully pwede na si R!

Thank you Ayala Malls and Blue Leaf for having us!
