SM Kids' Summer Fashion

Summer is one of my favorite time of the year as well as summer fashion! And there is a reason why SM Kids' Fashion is the local authority on kids' fashion. SM Kids' Fashion brings in brands like Nautica, Elle, and Maui & Sons to their roster of premium brands.

I was invited to a garden party at Shine Bakery and Cafe a few weeks ago.
Me, Jackie and Tin

We were treated to good food, some games, and a fashion show.
Games to guess what brand the host was talking about

And to showcase SM Kids' Fashion  summer style guide, a fashion show, which Y loved watching! She wants the dresses daw!
Dresses, separates, rashguards, swimwears and more! They got everything for you this summer! I want those Hello Kitty dresses for Y! Go to your nearest SM Department Store and shop away!

SM Babies Launch

When I was pregnant with Y and know nothing about buying baby clothes, I asked a friend and she told m without blinking her eyes, "Sa SM!" And ever since then, SM is my go-to store for anything for my two babies from their pajamas to their birthday outfits! They really got everything!

Last January, I had a great privilege to attend the (re)launching of SM Babies at Manila Peninsula Hotel.

Along with the launch was an exhibit called "Special Moments" shot by the famous Pilar Tuason, with 14 of Manila's loveliest moms!
And of course, we are very proud of our SoMom Tin Dychiao and her oh so adorable Xavi!!! Kelangan may solo pic!
Kagigil ka!
Hot moms Lexi Schulze, Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Andi Eigenmann also talked about what they liked about SM Babies and of course how's it like to be moms!
We were then treated to a serenade by no other than Christian Bautista!
Who I think is Kris's idol haha!
Andi Eigenmann's pretty baby!
It was a short event but fun nonetheless! I got to dress up, met fellow mom bloggers, and finally met Kira of ARC PR! :)

Babies is available in all SM Department Stores nationwide. Like http://www.facebook.com/smbabiesfashion on Facebook.

Afternoon Pampering at Manos Nail Lounge

Spent one Tuesday afternoon at Manos Nail Lounge for a nail sparty with other mom bloggers (will post another entry about the event!).

I've been hearing a lot about Manos Nail Lounge and I've been checking their website ever since I got the invite to the nail sparty. I was in dire need of a mani and pedi and this was the first time I went to a nail salon after giving birth (4 months ago).

Here's a tidbit about Manos!

From Press Kit:MANOS (literally "hands" in Spanish) is the brainchild of three friends that wanted to create a unique spa experience by being one that offered more than just pampering and relaxation -- but also promoted social and environmental consciousness.
What I liked about Manos is that it's cozy and gives you a homey feeling! I love that they have their own cafe/bar where you can order coffee, iced tea, cocktails and more! Now let me you a tour to the place!
Upon entering, you'll be greeted by their cafe!
Their announcement blackboard where some photos of celebrities are posted!
Saw a photo of Martine of daintymom.com and Liz Uy & Georgina Wilson
Other goodies you can buy at Manos: Human Heart Nature, Theo Philo chocolates, Zoya, and Ziggy and Zooey sandals!
where the pampering happens!
More photos from press kit!
Another tidbit: All of their furniture and decorative items are sourced locally! I love how they support and showcase the local industry.
For those times when you want some private pampering session and want to muni-muni hehe! But these chairs are turned around during events and sparties like when we're there.

For that afternoon, I chose to have the Signature Manos Spa and Manos Iced tea as my choice of drink! You can their menu and rates here, here, and here!
She did my foot spa! Forgot her name though :( #momnesia
Foot Spa arsenal!
Getting my feet soaked!
I had a super relaxing foot spa! In the middle of my session, Jackie arrived! Yay! May ka-chikahan na ako! We had a hard time from choosing our choice of nail polish! They have Zoya, Essie, and Chanel! Manos only use formahydelyde, toulene, and DBP-Free nail polish brands. So it's totally safe! Zoya is a vegan brand pala, it's camphor-free as well!
I also had my eyebrows thread and we (Jackie and I) had our nails done too! I was there for 4 hours! Haha! Major pampering talaga! We were the last ones to leave hehe! Making it a more fun experience were the Manos girls who were really nice and great, ma-chika din sila! It was really a treat! Thank you and sorry to the people from the PR company who waited!
Me, Jackie, and Ning
You can also have the perfect sparty at Manos Nail Lounge, may it be birthdays, showers, or corporate events!
I will definitely go back and take Ninang G with me for some great pampering and chikahan!

Bollywood Madness Bazaar

Zonta Club of Muntinlupa & Environs Presents: Bollywood Madness Bazaar
Excusive women’s club holds annual fundraising bazaar in Ayala Alabang

Metro Manila, Philippines—The Zonta Club of Muntinlupa & Environs (ZCME) is holding its annual fundraising event on November 3 and 4, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday), from 8AM to 8PM at the Cuenca Covered Court in Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City. Featuring a festive Indian theme, the Bollywood Madness Bazaar is inspired by India’s vibrant colors, attractive ethnicity, exotic cuisine, and the global emergence of Bollywood movies.

“After the highly successful Moroccan bazaar last year, we want to reinforce the iconic branding of our annual fundraiser,” explains Nancy Harel, Public Relations Officer of ZCME. “A different theme each year allows us to differentiate our bazaar from all the others.”

Established in 1988, ZCME is composed of professional women working together to elevate the state of marginalized women and children in the city of Muntinlupa. Through the organization’s various projects, issues such as education, politics, health, and economics are addressed, thereby empowering women to become contributing and productive members of the society.

The annual 2-day bazaar aims to raise funds needed for the Club’s numerous community service projects. Two major beneficiaries of this event are SAGIP (Saklolo at Gabay ng Ina at Pamilya), a 24-hour crisis response center for abused women and children of Muntinlupa and TDZ (Tulong Dunong ng Zonta), a high school scholarship program granted to underprivileged but intelligent young girls in the city.

Participating at the bazaar is Republiq of Asia, who will offer its selection of handmade clothes, jewelry, accessories, and home furnishing. Some of these fair trade products are directly sourced from all over Asia, Australia, and Europe.Another participant to look out for is Silnag, a local company that sells native hand-crafted jewelry made from sustainable indigenous materials.
 Stuff by Republiq

There would also be food concessionaires like Persian Shawarma, Krispy Kreme, Brother's Burger, Jax BBQ, etc.

The Bollywood Madness Bazaar is made possible through the generosity of YKK Philippines, Pioneer Insurance, Hans Brumann Jewelry, Bay &HecSenares Gasoline Station (PHOENIX), Graman Fashion, EJ Litton Foundation, and Crocs Philippines.

I Can Be So Lucky!

Can't think of a nice title so I used the line from Kylie Minogue's song... Hehe

Last Wednesday, August 15, 2012 was the grand launch of Lucky Chinatown. I was lucky (see what I just did there?! LOL) enough to be invited! And lucky that I live near the mall so I didn't have to take the shuttle that was offered. I left 9:25AM here and got to the mall in 20 minutes!

I was kind of worried that I would be alone and not know anyone when I got there. I was tweeting with April and Jackie before I left home hoping to see them there. I was so relieved when I saw Jackie at the registration booth, I introduced myself. She's so nice and pretty! We clicked instantly and started chatting about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and motherhood.

We were given these lucky charm bracelet to wear! Cute noh?
