How Kawaii Is #MYOH2016!

Summer is in full swing and wearing shoes is becoming a chore! All I want to wear are Havaianas kasi ang init!!! But there's something I am very excited about this April! Every summer for three years now, there's one event I always look forward to, it's the Make You Own Havaianas! You can check my posts on #MYOH from 2013, 2014 and 2015! This 2016, the theme is based on the Japanese "Shibori", know to be the oldest indigo dyeing techniques in Japan. Everyone has been going to Japan and this is just the perfect theme!
Shibori reminds me so much of the plates I collect no? I know many of my plate-collecting friends would love this year's theme too!

Did you know that the first ever flip-flop was inspired by the Zori? Zori is a type of Japanese slipper made of fabric straps and rice straw roles. On its 11th year, MYOH goes backs to roots!
Here's this year's commemorative pair! It's now available in Top and Slim sole! Ahhh I can't wait to grab a pair for myself! BOS wants one too!
Experience the land of the rising sun from April 22-24 at the Mega Fashion Hall at SM Megamall!

Of course, MYOH wouldn't be compete without the pins and the selection this year is kawaii! There's the Zori, Sakura, Robot, Ramen - my favorite, check out the pins below!

Are you excited yet? If you're outside Manila, no need to worry! Make Your Own Havaianas will be happening nationwide!
