A&D Eats: Lunch at Balay Indang, Cavite

This is the third and last installment from our weekend trip to Wilson's Place (read all about it here).

Since Wilson's Place doesn't serve lunch, after checking out we had our last meal for our trip at Balay Indang (owned and operated by the same family as Wilson's Place and Yoki's Farm) before driving back to Manila.
Balay Indang is a bed and breakfast located at Indang, Cavite, just a few minutes drive from Wilson's Place. Luscious gardens, big pavillions, a swimming pool, playground and cottage-style houses for you to stay and more are what you can expect at Balay Indang.

This the main house where lunch is being served. Wait 'til you see how the house looks like inside!
Lounge area outside the main house
I want to take those chickens home!
Love this big big bowl of flowers.
Quaint and charming
Here's another angle from the top. A spacious lounge area where guests can get to chillax while waiting for their companions or sit down to admire the place.
Then we went to the main dining hall to have our yummy home-cooked lunch.
I love this shabby chic corner of the dining area. Love the pots and pans above! So quirky.
After taking photos, we finally sat down on our table. Balay Indang and Wilson's Place has the same person who prepares their menu.
Fresh bowl of salad with fresh greens from Yoki's Farm
Chicken BBQ
Beef Kaldereta
Salmon Pasta
Baby Back Ribs
This was a favorite of everyones! Shrimp Kebab with Mango Salsa! I think I had two sticks of this!
Gising Gising
I was full when this Baked Cheesy Salmon was served. But I still took a bite because it looks yummy! Anything with cheese is good! We were also served Fried Tinapa Lumpia which I found yummy even I don't eat Tinapa. Hehe!
This is the back of the main house. You can opt for outdoor dining!
After that sumptuous lunch, we had a tour to the whole place. The cottages were all booked that weekend so we weren't able to check out the rooms.
This is the poolside pavillion. Looks like a nice area for a wedding reception, breakout sessions for retreats or a place to do your yoga.

What seems like a tree house can be your reading spot
A gazebo which can be perfect for your wedding

We then checked out Elizabelth's Hall, Balay Indang's biggest function hall which can accommodate up to 200 guests.
There's also a smaller function room at the back of Elizabeth's Hall for smaller gatherings or meetings.
One of the things the owner shared with us is the walls of the bathroom of Elizabeth's Hall were hand-painted by one of their staff.
Galing noh?
Beside Elizabeth's Hall is this beautiful structure being built. This can be your venue for your pre-nup shoot!
And in front of the hall is this big wide garden where the kids loved the big open space! Garden weddings can happen here too.
I don't what these kids were up to heehee!

But they sure loved the playground! Up and down and slide, trying the monkey bars, and swinging up up and away. Y kept telling me she wanted to go back to Balay Indang because of the playground. Hehe!

Balay Indang truly satisfied not only our tummies but our craving for nature. It's a great place for weddings, retreats, office outings, family vacation or with your friends. Escape the city and be one with nature. Make sure to book a cottage or have lunch at Balay Indang the next time you visit Tagaytay. It will be worth your while!

Balay Indang is located at 8 Mahabang Kahoy Cerca, Indang, Cavite.

  1. Thanks for sharing your experience at Balay Indang. Question lang po, what time pwede mgtour ng place, and which is advisable, before meal or after? It seems hindi mashadong matao when you get there. And for buffet, this is one time only po b na serving? Not the usual all you can eat? Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Lady Michelle! I think it's advisable to tour after meal para more energy! Heeehee! I think you can tour around the place when you book your meals there. Ma-tao siya during lunch time but it's a seated meal. They serve around 5-7 dishes I think, you can call ahead of time to ask what will they serve. Madami na siya. Busog na busog! They will ask you naman how many you will be and serve the according to number of people. Hope this helps!
