A&D Eats: Get Curried Away With Eri Curry

There's something about Japanese curry that brings comfort, don't you agree? I love curries! May it be Thai, Indian or Japanese, give me a hot cup (or two) of rice and a glass of Coke and I would be good!

Last week, some of the SoMoms and I got to try the newly opened Eri Curry at the Atrium of SM Megamall.
Did you know that Japanese curry actually originated from India but it was the British who introduced it to  Japan in the late 19th century, during Britain's colonization in India. The Japanese then reinvented the curry sauce to suit their taste, having a much milder flavor and a thick sauce!
Eri Curry brings a whole new concept of eating curry! Usually, you just order whatever is the menu, but with Eri Curry, you get to pick from the curry you want, spicyness plus so much more!
Step 1: Pick you curry plate - Thin Sliced Beef Curry, Burger Curry, Shrimp Curry or Vegetable Curry
Step 2: Choose your rice quantity - 200 grams, 300 grams or 400 grams
Step 3: Choose your level of spicyness - Just Right, Spicy or Fiery
Step 4: Customize your cury by adding more toppings!

So here's what I got for myself then added some extra toppings for Y.
Sliced Beef Curry with regular rice, not spicy, sausages and fried quail eggs! Yummy!!!   Promise ang sarap!
Mango Shake for Y!
And here's more food the other SoMoms ordered! I forgot na what they got, sorry! :( I was too excited to eat my curry! Ooops!
Y's meal! She likes the chicken! But we have to work on the veggies!
Extra toppings of Shrimp and Karaage!
Omurice! This looks so yummy! I have to try this on my next visit!
And you can opt to have the curry sauce on the side!
Dessert! Flavored shaved ice which the kids loved!

I finished my plate of curry! As in finished everything! Filipinos love "masabaw" na ulam, right? Eri Curry is just perfect! I can't wait to bring my dad to Eri Curry because he loves curries! And thank you Shen for inviting the SoMoms for lunch!
