Sweet Discovery: Made In Candy Philippines

When I hear the word candy, there are a few things that pops into my mind. It was my best friend when I was pregnant, it helped me alot with my nausea or I remember Aaron Carter's song "I Want Candy" or Mandy Moore's "Candy". (Hihi.. yes, I'm a 90s baby) But that has changed!
I've been hearing a lot about Made In Candy, I've seen it in Instagram and read it on other blogs! But last Sunday, I had the privilege of meeting the owners and as well as witnessing the art of rock candy making!
Owners Arthur Dichavez and Darlene Chua
Lucky for us, when we got to the kiosk they were just starting to make candies!
Here's the Candy Artisans (the ones in black and white) doing their thing!
In action! It was amazing watching them make the candies! Galing!
I never thought that there was such an art as candy making. In 2009, Candy Chef Wayne opened Asia's first Candy Kitchen in Singapore after a years of learning the basic rock candy making, hard work, sweat and self-experimentation before finally taming heavy, hot, melted sugar into masterpieces!
Did you know that there are over 40 designs and flavors? How awesome is that???

M.I.C. uses the best quality sugar and specially imported raw materials to ensure our products maintain its strict quality. Natural flavors from Europe are flown for formulation in professional laboratories in Singapore that bring out the best taste in every candy they make. The shop maintains its chic, predominantly black fixtures, with subtle tones of white and yellow to let the colors of the products stand out. You feel as you enter the shop, M.I.C. is not your ordinary candy store!

They can also do customization for your parties and special occasions!
Thinking of doing that for R's party next year!

Thank you Made In Candy Philippines for my MIC goodies! I'm not a candy person but when I tasted their candy, OMG! I loved it! Yum yum yum! :) It's very addicting! It makes you wonder what each cute candy tastes like.
Y liked the lollipop which she bugged me to open that same night. Hehe!
Yummy? Y and "Li-pop"
Made in Candy is also great for the coming holidays! I love love their packaging! What are you waiting for? Go "ROCK" with them now at one of the brideways in Powerplant Mall. Their first flagship store will open before the year ends! Exciting!
