August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month! Mommy Mundo together with photographer and breastfeeding advocate, Stanley Ong, is having a breastfeeding exhibit entitled "The Nearness of We" to celebrate the special bond between a mom and her child and the family that supports them.

Come visit the exhibit at The Podium Mall starting August 9-13 and SM Aura Premier from August 14-17!

Another Mommy Mundo event! The Ultimate Mommy Clearance Clearout is also happening this weekend at The Great Big Room of Fun Ranch Ortigas! August 11-13 10AM-7PM!

If you're in the south, there's also an End of Season sale happening! Stock Wipeout will be at the Madison Galeries at Alabang Hills. It's a one-day event (August 12) only. Doors will open at 10AM!

Sticking to a fitness routine or activity isn't one of my forte. I've fallen off and joined the diet bandwagon so many times and it wasn't until last year when an FB chat turned into a pilates meet-up the next day and has blossomed into so much more than just getting fit together.

Motherhood isn't easy. There are challenges along the way, there's ups and downs, there's laughter, I think I've experienced the most emotions when I became a mom. When I gave birth to Y, I was the first to become a mom among my friends. I didn't have a mommy support group and it wasn't until I started blogging and tweeting that I met my online-turned-into-real-life friends and support group. 

Our FB chat is more than just conversation about pilates, it's about motherhood, shopping, yaya problems and anything under the sun and there's totally no judgement. We are each other's inspiration and motivation. If it isn't for these moms, I don't think I wouldn't have what it takes to maintain pilates. Seriously! I don't live in the same area as them and the pilates studio, so it's really an effort on my part but it's really all worth it. Pixi x It's Judy Time: ItsEyeTime and ItsLipTime + Meet & Greet!

I first heard about It's Judy Time from my friend Kaye about 2 years ago, she kept on telling us to watch the vlog. I've only seen a few episodes and a couple of Judy's FB Live and I can see why they have a big fanbase from kids to teens to moms! Early this year, Judy Travis and her family visited again the Philippines and one of the events they did was the launch of Judy's collaboration with Pixi!

Summer Fun at Expo Kid 2017

Summer is just a month away and the weather is already giving us the summer feels! Summer also means choosing an activity or activities for our kids. It's a time for our kids to experience as many kinds of sports and activities as possible allowing them to discover themselves, stimulate their minds, build their self-esteem and nourish their spirits.

Mommy Mundo brings us their annual Expo Kid once again, giving us a sneak peek at the various kinds of summer classes and workshops available for our kids. It's happening this weekend, March 4-5, 2017 at the Bonifacio High Street Activity Center from 11AM to 9PM. Expo Kid is open to the public.

I've been to the Expo Kid a few times already and it really helps that I was able to talk to the different activity providers and had my kids try what they offer. It helped me decide which sports and activities to enroll my kids and it's all in one same place! Saves a lot of time and effort! I am really grateful that Mommy Mundo do these kinds of events with us mommies in mind. Don't forget to drop by this weekend!

Expo Mom 2016: The Motherhood Journey + a Giveaway!

When I was a new mom, I'm grateful there's Mommy Mundo and Expo Mom. School has been over for two weeks now, I'm so happy I don't have to wake up early everyday! Y has been going to art class and she's loving it! I might enroll her for Module 2 at her current school but I also wanted her to try other things this summer. I haven't enrolled R into anything and we're going to Expo Kid this weekend to check out if there's anything R would like to try!

Mommy Mundo together with Caltrate, has organized EXPO KID! EXPO KID is an assembly of the metro’s newest and most exciting activity providers. Catch them on April 2 and 3, 2016 at the High Street Activity Center (between Krispy Kreme and Nike), from 11am to 9pm! Take a look at the variety of activities available this summer and at the end, pick the ones you like most and plan your summer ahead of time.

Whether it's something educational, musical, or physical, visit Expo Kid to know more about the different activities and get a peek on how fun and interesting your kids' summer can be!

A&D Holiday Shopping Guide: Block Party Jams and Expo Mom Holiday Edition!

It's 49 days until Christmas! Have you started shopping yet? Well, I haven't! I don't even have a list yet. Who here always say you will start Christmas shopping early every year? Guilty momma here but I'm hoping I can start my Christmas shopping this weekend!

Join The #MomManifesto, Discover Your Mommy Mission, and Win Php10,000 Worth of Expo Mom 2015 Spree!

We had a staycation last weekend and I feel so tired from what supposed to be a "vacation". My whole body hurts from carrying R, I need a massage! But I have so much writing to catch up on, plan our menu for the week, think of activities to keep the kids busy, plus I have meetings and events to attend. Just thinking of everything makes me so tired and makes me want that massage more badly. But since I won't have time to have a me-time any time this week, I'm glad I have the Mom Manifesto online workshop to work on at home.

#MomManifesto is this year's theme for Expo Mom! Mommy Mundo founder Janice Villanueva and certified psychologist Michele Alignay M.A. designed an online workshop which consists a 6-step program to be fulfilled within a five week period.

Just 15 minutes of your time per activity. Quick and doable for busy moms like me!

Mommy Mundo's Mom Manifesto campaign hopes to help moms focus on the important and discover their sense of purpose. The Mom Manifesto also hopes to put spotlight on mindful parenting, being mindful of our actions to help us prioritize and focus on our daily tasks, find pleasure and delight in big and small moments. And by the end of the series, moms will be able to come up her own #MomManifesto, a statement of mission in her life, goals, priorities, hopes and dreams and her guiding statement in her life.

Print it out and post in the #MomManifesto Wall to share with fellow moms at Expo Mom on May 22 to 24, 2015 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. If you cannot make it to the expo, you can also share your statements online to join in the celebration!
