B Hotel QC: The Newest and Chicest Hotel in the City

The weekend before Y and I left for Hong Kong, our little family had a staycation at the newest, chicest and hippest boutique hotel in Quezon City, B Hotel QC.

B Hotel QC is the second three-star boutique hotel owned and managed by The Bellevue Hotels & Resorts. B Hotel QC is situated at 14 Scout Rallos St., Diliman, Quezon City.

We had a busy morning until lunch time in school so we arrived late in the afternoon already. B Hotel QC was still in its soft opening so expect we had a little inconvenience during our stay. They're also in the middle of hotel's drop off's construction, we were asked to parked in their parking lot in the basement and a bellman was waiting for us. You can still enter through their front door but you need to climb a flight of stairs.
Checking-in was easy breezy, they require a Php1,000 security deposit, which they will refund you when you check-out. The front desk person (I really have to start remembering names!) was really nice and accommodating when I requested to give us a king bed instead of two twin beds.
We stayed in a Superior Room on the 9th Floor.

It's not your usual(ly- designed) boutique hotel but I like B Hotel QC's chic industrial-designed rooms! Check out our room!

Our room has the view of Quezon City!
Here's the view of the other side of the room.
Left: The faucet was inside the room and not inside the bathroom.
Right: The bathroom is "open" but you can roll down the blinds. The door to the bathroom is also the door to the shower.

After settling down our room, we went out for bit to buy some things and went back to the hotel just in time for dinner at the Lobby Cafe. Because it was still in its soft opening, their menu has limited choices only.
We had the Lobby Cafe all to ourselves! It can be a little cold, so bring your sweater/jacket especially for the kids.

We had to wait for a few minutes before the server was able to give us the menu and they me a photocopy of the menu. Apparently, some of guests took the menu to their rooms, hence, the photocopy. I hope they have printed more copies of their menu and put a copy in the room so guests wouldn't have to bring the menu from the cafe to their room. :) So while waiting for our food to arrive, I took the chance to check out their Mezzanine Bar.
A nice place for friends to hang out, have drinks and chit chat! This could be the venue for your barkada's Christmas Party!

Finally our food arrived and here's what we had for dinner:
Pumpkin Soup for BOS
Mushroom Soup for the kids to share.
There's wasn't anything in the menu my kids liked so we just ordered the pansit for them to share.
Crispy Bagnet with Pakbet. There was 3 pieces of lechon kawali on top of the pinakbet.
This was the saving grace. BOS and I each ordered Prime Rib from their grill. This was good! I wish their A/C wasn't too cold because the food got cold fast too.

After dinner, we went out for a quick night cap at Cafe Breton because I wanted to have dessert. Heehee! Good thing there are tons of restaurant and dessert places nearby. Tomas Morato and Timog are just a few minutes drive away which was one of the few things I like about staying at B Hotel QC. We were tired by the time we arrived back at the hotel so we slept in early so the kids can have a swim at the pool the next day!
Rise and shine, kiddos! Chill lang before we went down for breakfast!

Breakfast was also at the Lobby Cafe. After dinner the night before, I was happy to see a buffet spread for breakfast! Yay!
Free flowing coffee, hot chocolate, tea and fruit juice (not in the picture).
Bread and cereal station. Wish they have other cereal choices and a toaster for the breads.
Fruits and Salad Station
Lugaw Station
Fried Rice and Plain Rice
Fish with Black Beans
Eggs!
Sauteed Vegetables
And my favorite from the breakfast buffet: Pineapple Fried Chicken. I went back thrice for this and more rice! Hehe
Fueling up for a busy Sunday ahead!

After having our breakfast, we took the kids to the pool to have a quick swim! B Hotel QC has a small pool (4 feet deep) and a pool deck where you can hangout. There's a bar by the pool but it wasn't open yet when we stayed. There are no lifeguards stationed so make sure to watch your kids.
Towels are provided by the entrance.
It was the perfect day to swim! We just watched the kids swim by the shade.
Going up and down the pool may be a little bit harder for smaller kids because of the ladder. But kids found it fun to go and up down the ladder. Haha!
There's also a Jing Monis Salon opening soon on the same floor as the pool.

Overall, we had a great time at B Hotel QC! The food in Lobby Cafe needs improvement and I hope they can find a way for the food to not get cold because of their cold A/C. Heehee! More kid-friendly food please so parents wouldn't have to worry what to feed their kids. It's definitely a nice boutique hotel for family staycations, barkada sleepovers and business functions! Thank you again B Hotel QC!

  1. Oh my gosh how nice! I like their hotel's design. I also like that it's in QC because we're looking for places to staycation in that's not too far. Would you know how much this is per night?
