A&D Eats Round Up: Gino's Brick Oven Pizza, Tim Ho Wan and Morita Japanese Restaurant

Got to try several restaurants over the holidays, it was either in between our Christmas shopping or get togethers with friends or family and never got to take photos properly so I'm doing a round up!

My HS friends and I met up in Podium last holiday so our kids can have a play date in Kidzville and since I don't frequent the area, I suggested that we try Gino's Brick Oven Pizza because I've been hearing raves about the place.
Summer Burrata Salad - salad was good but not a fan of the Burrata. Maybe because I'm really not a cheese person
Pesto - this was yummy!
Tomato Basil Pasta - this was also good. Kids loved it!
I love their pizza! Dough was chewy. This was the Four Cheese Pizza.
Prosciutto Pizza

The Spicy Honey made the pizza extra yummy! Can we buy those? Everything was good except they were served cold :( Sayang, mas masarap sana if the pizzas and pastas were hot pa. I hope to go back soon and hopefully my pizza and pasta won't be served cold.

After 48 years, I finally got to dine (and did not just ordered Pork Buns for take-out hihi) at Tim Ho Wan! We had lunch at the Glorietta branch when I went shopping with my mom last Christmas. The waiting queue was not as long as the one in Megamall, we only waited for about 5 minutes before we were seated.
Of course we ordered the Baked Buns with BBQ Pork! We also got a bowl of their Congee with Lean Pork, Century Egg and Salted Egg, which was a little small for good enough for snacking. Mom had the Cold Barley Water while I had Iced Tea.
Vermicelli Roll with Pig's Liver, this wasn't on the menu but on their paper place mat. We always order shrimp or beef in other Chinese restaurants so opted for this and we had no regrets. It was good!
Spinach Dumplings with Shrimp
Melts-in-your-mouth Beef Ball with Beancurd Skin. This is my favorite dimsum ever since I was kid and Tim Ho Wan by far has the best beef balls!

We loved everything! I love dimsum places and Tim Ho Wan just made it to my list. I will definitely come back again and try other dishes!

And last but the not least, we had a family lunch one Sunday at Morita Japanese Restaurant at Fisher Mall and we had the freshest sashimi and yummiest Okonomiyaki I've ever eaten!
Morita is just outside Fisher Mall, Roosevelt Ave. side.
Spicy Tuna
Forgot what this was
Hamachi
Tonkotsu Ramen for the kids. We ordered two bowls because Gwakong also had some. Hehe!
Dynamite Roll
We almost cancelled this beautiful thing because it was taking so long but we were all happy we didn't. This was so good! As in! It was malaman and not just all flour! Hehe!

We also had the Salmon Sashimi. Price is a bit steep but it's everything is fresh so it's sulit na! I wanna go back just for the okonomiyaki!

Have you tried any of these restaurants? Let me know if you did and if you liked it!
