QC Living in Avida Towers Vita

I lived in Manila all my life. When I graduated from college and started looking for work, it will either be in Makati or Ortigas and travelling from Manila to these area are especially on rush hours! When I resigned from my first job and looking for another job, I opted to look in Quezon City. It was so much easier for me to drive to and from but I ended up working in Manila. Boo!

When BOS and I are still dating, BOS would always picks Trinoma because it's midway for both of us. While I sometimes dreaded it driving from Manila to Trinoma, he likes this mall so much! We both like to eat out and try new resturants and recently we've been frequenting Quezon City than we used to.  So whenever the BOS and I talk about where we want to move if and when we want move, I always say Quezon City! It's in the middle and everything is accessible!

And there's one more reason to consider living in Quezon City, the newest development of Avida Land, Avida Towers Vita, a three-tower residential development.
It's right beside Trinoma so you really nned not worry about accessibility to grocery, department stores, LRT or MRT. A garden nook and a Grand Lawn will be built to bring a relaxing breathing space amidst the hectic cityscape!
And as any Avida Land would have, Avida Towers Vita would also have, complete amenities.
Why Avida Vita Towers? It will be located at Ayala Land's latest City Center that is Vertis North, a 40 hectare community with a 2-hectare central park and storm water management system, and soon will be home to various trade and lifetyle centers!
With all of these establishments on the rise, Avida Vita Towers is really an ideal place to live in. I onced lived in condominium and I loved it because everything is near  and I wouldn't have to endure a long commute just to go to the grocery or to the pharmacy. And if I have to move to another condo, I would consider Avida Towers Vita!

Here's a video to help you visualize what would it be like to live in Avida Towers Vita!

Singaporean Fare at Boon Tong Kee Tomas Morato

One of my favorite Singaporean dishes is the Hainanese Chicken with lots and lots of the ginger sauce and a plateful of chicken rice! YUM! Around 2 weeks ago, the #SoMoms were invited by Jenny's cousin, Miguel Aranaz or Moya, to have lunch at Boon Tong Kee and try out their signature as well as their new dishes!

The first time I tried Boon Tong Kee was in Power Plant. BOS and I had our ingress for The Next Big Thing bazaar, we had our post ingress dinner there and got to try a few dishes. For QC people or when you find yourself in QC and looking for something new to try, Boon Tong Kee is now open in Tomas Morato! It's right beside Burgoo.

And now for some food porn!

I love this creamy and thick soup! I think my kids and hubby will like this soup!
Thick Soup with Crab and Pork

Their best-selling dish and I think the best Cereal Prawns I've ever tasted! All of their ingredients are imported from Singapore so you are sure of their quality and authenticity!
Love love this dish! Best Cereal Prawns in Manila!
Signature Boiled Chicken

Aside from their signature dishes, we also got to try new offerings!
We got to try the Char Siu, Stir Fried Lotus with Sambal and Poched Bai Cai with Gluten!
Uber tender honey glazed pork!
Very healthy dish!
Another dish I truly enjoyed was this Braised Yimian Prawn Noodles! Noms!
Noms!
Coffee Pork! Sarap with rice!
Grabe I ate so much! Food was super yummy and I don't need to go to Singapore to eat these yummy dishes! And this wasn't over yet! We had desserts pa! There's always room for desserts!
Green Tea Creme Brulee
Sago Gula-Melaka
Pulot Hitam - my favorite of them all!
Soya Pudding! Noms!

I don't think I've ever had so much Singaporean food! I'm excited to take my family and have them try everything we had. My kids would surely love the soup and BOS would love those Cereal Prawns!

Thank you again to the owners, Joy and Michael Rodriguez, Marketing Manager Miguel Aranaz and Operations Manager Inigo Alvero for having the #SoMoms!

Happiness in a Box!

McDonald's iconic Happy Meal boxes are back! Yes you read that right! It's really back starting today!
Look who's happy with her Happy Meal Box!
I know when I say that I'm not the only mom who goes gaga for Happy Meal toys! We're the first in line to buy and collect the toys (like the Smurfs or the Minions), diba? . Happy Meal was first launched in 1979 and was also the first meal designed for kids.
In line to bringing more smiles to more kids, McDonald's has recently made the Happy Meal available for breakfast with favorites such as the 4-piece Mini Hotcakes and Hamdesal, both served with a regular drink and  featured toy. Whether on the way to school or a quick stop at McDonald's to start a fun weekend, a delicious first meal of the day is a great way to get your kids revved up for the day ahead.
McDonald’s has also come up with a new way for kids to enjoy the Happy Meal, as it can now come with a serving of McDonald’s World Famous Fries – a perfect addition to the Burger McDo, McNuggets, Chicken McDo with rice, and McSpaghetti, all with a regular drink and featured toy.
Another good news: Happy Meal is now down to Php85 only! And this month, your kids can enjoy Transformers and My Little Pony collectibles!
So, what are you waiting for? Get your kids that red box and give them a reason to smile! Can't wait to try the 4-pc pancakes!

Happy 3 to My Little Princess!

My little girl turned 3 yesterday. We were supposed to be in Baguio now but we're stuck at home because we're all sick except R. So our trip is postponed to another two weeks. So happy that our hotel accommodated our request to move dates even I called on the day of our arrival without any extra charge!

I had a plan of surprising Y in Baguio with balloons and the whole shebang but since we're staying home, the plan was scrapped and I have to think of another plan.

Too weak the night before to do something so did some crafting in the morning when I woke up.
Made an improvised backdrop with the fabric letters I have in stock. Hihi. Perks of being a party supplies owner.
Yukie was happy and jolly despite being sick.
I think she blew the candle 4 or 5 times! Hehe
R joined the fun too! He squealed when his achi wasn't able to blow the candle. It's too cute! He rarely smiles so this was a treat for us too!
My loves!

Happy happy Birthday My Little Princess! Don't grow up too fast! Can't wait for our Baguio trip next next week! Papa, Raizo, and I loves you very much!!!!
