Paper Chic Studio at the Babypalooza Bazaar

Hello mommies!

If you're a regular reader, you would notice there's a new banner on my sidebar. I have been keeping it under wraps for the last month, I think I can tell a little about it... I've been very excited about this!

This is my little project. I'm starting a little business called Paper Chic Studio, which is an online shop for anything chic and eco-friendly! Yay! :) While my online shop is still under construction, I'll be having a soft launch of Paper Chic Studio at the Babypalooza Bazaar this Friday!

I'll be selling paper straws, muffin/candy cups, baking cups, baker's twine, favor bags, and kiddie aprons! Hope you can drop by my booth, I'll be giving out freebies and discounts! :) I'll be at Table 18!
Ohh and I'll also sell pre-loved clothes and shoes! :)

See you there!

A&D's Top Picks at The Mommy Mundo Bazaar + My Loot

Visited The Mommy Mundo Bazaar last Sunday. I really look forward to Mommy Mundo Bazaar and Expo Mom every year (no joke, no biased ha) ever since my first pregnancy and this year was no exception! They always have great stuff for expectant moms, nursing moms, for babies and kids!

Before doing some shopping, I dropped off Y and yaya at the "play area" with some of the other SoMoms' kids. :) Jackie and baby Juro was my shopping buddy for the day!

Pretty mommy and cutie pie Juro!
For maternity wear, nursing bras, tops, dresses, and paraphernalia, Mommy Matters, Mamaway and Mama.Baby.Love are your pit stops!
I want to own a Dizzy Dress. But find their price a bit steep. Maybe when Y's bigger, I'd buy one. Hmmm..
I've been obsessing about shoes for myself and even for my kids so these local brands of shoes didn't escape my radar. Hihi..
Pretty and chic for the little feet! Tot Couture shoes! I think I should have bought that cap toe flats for Y.
I've been hearing raves about Tip Tap Soft Soles from fellow SoMoms. I want to buy the little loafers for R!
The Little Red Shoes where I bought Y a pair of denim sandals! Check my loot photo at the end of this post!
Saw this studded flats from Ambishoes! They'll also have one for your little girl. I want!
More and more organic clothing line and sleepwear are becoming available in Manila and one of them is Omma Organics. I want the neck pillow but they don't have stocks :(
Jackie and I also visited Baby K'Tan's booth. They got some Ikea items for sale! :) Jackie went balistic, well ako din! Haha! #ayawumamin

Ooh, I also visited Wonderworld Toys booth but I don't have a photo with me. I picked up my online order which is a gift to my nephew/godson! I love their toys! Hindi din kami makaalis agad sa booth na yon! LOL

And last but definitely not the least, my last stop was Mommy Treats! I picked up my lactation brownies from Paola! They were sold out already when I got there! Galing!!!
And for my loot that day...
Denim Sandals for Y, Grandma's Goo Remover and Mom 24/7 Planner for me, Red Sneakers and Hat for R!

Did you go to the bazaar? What did you buy? Share naman! :)

Can't wait for the line up of events and activities by Mommy Mundo next year! Congratulations again Janice! :)

Beauty & Butter Pampering

About a week ago, me along with some of the SoMoms had a little sparty at Beauty & Butter over at SM Megamall. This was my second time to try B&B's services.
For that day, we were all treated to an organic mani/pedi which uses the SpaRitual brand of vegan nail care and nail lacquers. This was the same service I got the first time I tried B&B when I was pregnant. I appreciate that B&B have this option!
While I've tried a few nail salons, one of the few things I consider is the cleanliness of the place including the tools that they'll use on me. I'm glad that B&B took an extra mile in cleaning their tools. Kwey Enciso, Sales and Marketing Manager of Beauty & Butter, mentioned that they do the sterilization every night after closing. Their 4-step sterilization process was launched last September 2012. The sterilization system effectively reduces the chance of contacting any nail or skin infection during treatments.

The 5 step sterilization process goes as follows:
· Wash tools with soap & warm water. Towel-dry.
· Soak tools in medical-grade disinfectant. (45 mins) - Towel-dry.
· Place tools in UV Sterilizer (20 mins) then flip tools to sterilize other side (20 mins)

· Seal tools in Sterile Pouches. Pouches are only opened infront of the client.
Nail buffers and nail files are also disposed after one use. Very  safe and hygienic.

More photos of the place and the mommies!

A&D Mom Finds: JusTees For Your Little Girls

Here's my recent find from SM Department Store, they really got it all for you! I've been meaning to buy Y some new shirts and pajama sets. There were no cute shirts in HK and I didn't have time to go to the mall the last few weeks until the other day after having a sparty with some SoMoms and lunch at Yabu with Kris, I got the chance to visit the department store! Yay!

While looking for PJs for Y, I saw a cute tee with a panda on it at the SM Kids Fashion section. Y loves pandas. Well, she likes animals in general. When I looked at the price, it was only Php169.75 only! Really reasonable, right? The brand is called JusTees! They got so many cute shirts in different styles and prints! How come I only discovered this now??? Have to check the nearest SM if this is also available there. It's a great alternative to your go-to brand :) I bought three shirts for Y!

They also have a collaboration with PAWS.
All We Need Is Love
Rootbeer Float Tee
They also have for boys. Their size starts at 2T. I'm so happy with my recent finds and I can't wait for Y to wear them!

Check out your nearest SM if they have this. Promise mapapabili kayo! I want to go back and buy more! :)

A&D x Baby Love Studio Giveaway

One of the things I like to keep and collect are photographs of my babies. It's one great way to immortalize their childhood and nice to look back to in the future. While I like to take photos from my iPhone and camera, it's always nice to have our babies' photos taken professionally. It doesn't hurt to put them in cute costumes, sit them in a bath tub or flower pot, and have them flash their cute smiles! One thing I wished I did was to have their photos taken while they're still newborns. Well, good thing for expectant moms who would like to have their newborns photographed, Baby Love Studio does this service!

BABY LOVE STUDIO is an up and coming baby photography studio offering fine art portraiture for newborns, babies, kids and expecting moms. What started out as a mere hobby, BABY LOVE STUDIO has evolved into one of the most sought after photography studios for the little ones due to its unique and elaborate concepts which others may find extremely difficult to execute.

BABY LOVE STUDIO is owned by Mr. Edilbert Corsame who also serves as the studio's lone photographer and artist. Edilbert is actually a chemical engineer and currently works for an upstream petroleum company. This is why BABY LOVE STUDIO's services are on a per-appointment basis only and normally done on weekends. Edilbert prides himself to be an expert in handling and soothing babies owing to his being a hands-on father of 4.

Just look at these beautiful babies!
What I like about Baby Love Studio is they offer pocket-friendly photo packages! It ranges from Php2,500 to Php5,000. They also do events coverage. View more of their photos at their gallery here. For more information and updates on Baby Love Studio, visit their website BABY LOVE STUDIO and Baby Love Studio FB Page.
And because the Holiday season is just around the corner, Baby Love Studio is giving away a Baby Love Newborn Shoot Budget Package (worth Php2,500) to one of my lovely readers! Yay! If you're an expectant mom or who has a friend who's pregnant, this is a perfect gift for them! Yay!

A&D Loves: Nestea Thai Iced Tea

I love milk tea! I wrote about it here. Sometimes I want to quit drinking those bubble teas because I want to diet na! But I don't think I can just yet. Heehee... I love milk tea!

I discovered Thai Iced Tea or cha-yen (as what they call it in Thailand) from my trip to Bangkok many years ago. From the minute I took a sip, I loved it! I was so happy when I saw Nestea produces powdered Thai Iced Tea at their grocery so I made pakyaw!
In Manila, you can drink Thai Iced Tea only when you dine in Thai restos. There's no powdered variant available in the market so when my achi asked what I wanted as pasalubong from Bangkok, I said Thai Milk Tea!!!
It comes in sticks likes this!
So last weekend, I got to taste it once again and shared the experience with the BOS! I cooked something Asian to pair with the drink. (Parang wine lang ang peg!)
Kung Pao!
I took out my brand new mason glass jars to use for this special drink haha!
If you have friends, relatives, officemates, or sino man yan who's going to Thailand, ask for this as pasalubong! Promise if you like milk teas and bubble teas, you'll definitely like this too! Pahinge ng pasalubong mo ha? :) Hehe...

Weekend Roundup

I love weekends! I get to rest, cook, spend time with the kids, do errands and a whole lot more! Pwede bang 5 days ang weekend? Hehe

Here's why I love weekends:

Seeing the BOS do things for the kids like cutting R's nails. Hehe. Ang cute nila.
Dressing Y up. This was her outfit going to the pedia. Dress and shoes from HK!
I made quick and easy Asian dinner! Thai Iced Tea and Kung Pao Pasta. Yum!
A was visting!
Shopped at Cotton On! More on that here.
And last but not the least, malling with my family! But first, OOTD naman ni R!

Shirt and pants from H&M, Shoes from Baby Authentiques
We went to Power Plant to shop and they have Christmas installments where we had our photos taken! Ang saya!
Posing with the animals
Aprica stroller buddies!
Achi wants to push the stroller
And after all the malling, borlogs ang bagets. To think nakaupo lang siya the whole time. Hehe!

How was your weekend?
