Reactivation and Transfer

Last Thursday, BOS and I went to Comelec to reactivate my privelege to vote as I've missed voting twice and BOS transfer to our current barangay from his previous address.

Funny story: we scheduled to go to Comelec this week because it was written in the notice (for my reactivation) that the deadline was October 31, 2011. I thought so too. But when we got there, I read the notice again and it was October 31, 2012! TOINK! Haha. We went anyway so we won't to do it next year.
It was easy breezy! No line at all. The only hassle thing was I had to fill up the same form thrice and the BOS 4 times! Sayang though I wasn't able to bring my original copy of my marriage certificate so I wasn't able to change my status or last name.

If you are going to register, transfer, reactivate, go to Comelec while it's still early!

Testing Blogger App for iPhone!

It works!

Staying home to rest.
Y just had colds so no trick or treat for us this year. Supposed to go to a Fully Booked event (thanks, Aimee!) but we decided to stay home.

Happy Long Weekend, everyone!!!

Quirks Marketing Warehouse Sale

I saw warehouse sale, and I'm there! (I hope I do get to drop by and have a milk tea party with Oli. LOL!)
Mark your calendars! November 12, 2011. See you there!

Mobler Sunday

It was a usual Sunday for us. Morning play with Y, organized some stuff, lunch at Amma's house, family time with my parents and Y.

The BOS and I are still in the process of decorating our home. We still need side tables, an office table, book case, etc. I mentioned to him why not we go to Mobler and check out what they have. I knew about Mobler last year at a bazaar when I bought some kitchen stuff.
We don't have an IKEA here, so it's the next best thing!

We trooped to Makati to check out the store. They are currently having their annual clearance sale up to 70% off, until October 30 only!
It's fairly big. Selection is limited but you can buy what you need for basic kitchen stuff. They got beds, book case, shelves, cabinets...

4th floor for more items...
See those jars on the counter top? Those were mine. Hehe.
You can order from the IKEA catalog and shipping takes two months.

That's it!

My The Spa Experience + Errands

Last Saturday, I had a little me-time. I had a The Spa GC which I got from my sister for the longest time and I've been long complaining about my back ever since my HK trip. So last Friday, I called The Spa Power Plant to schedule a deep-tissue massage for Saturday (I figured I always have Swedish massage, so I picked Deep Tissue!)
It's my first time to try out The Spa. My scheduled massage was 1230PM, I got there before 12NN. I picked up my personalized cuff with Y's name, walked around a bit, and went to The Spa around 1215PM.
The place was so chic! Ang shala! The staff were nice. After paying, one staff accompanied me to my suite and offered me a cup of Ginger Tea. I'm not much of a tea drinker (except for milk tea), but I loved the tea! Tangy, spicy, and sweet, perfect!
I had my own suite, with a personal shower and steam. I took a shower and a steam for about 15 minutes. Then I pressed a button where it will tell the staff that I'm ready for my massage!
Sorry for the dark pictures!
Massage lasted 60 minutes. My therapist, Cora, was good. Though I was expecting more, deep tissue massage is much like Swedish massage na hard. Still, I enjoyed it. I feel so refreshed after! I had another cup of tea before I left.

After my massage, I was super hungry! I went to Washington to have the battery of my watch replaced, bought toothbrushes at PCX, also bought some stuff at Baby Company, picked up my dry-cleaning and I bought a Big Mac and ate it in the car.

My Saturday was short and sweet. I hurried home to be with the BOS and Y. :)

Shop Apples & Dumplings

I finally found a way to unload some of my pre-pregnancy clothes and shoes!

Please visit and buy my stuff!

I Will Miss You, Rain!

Yes, Rain the Korean singer/actor!

The BOS introduced me to Rain when we got together. While I was pregnant with Y, he wanted me to listen to Rain's CD, paglihi-an ko daw! We were even set on naming our unborn child (if it's a boy) after Rain's character in one of his movies! Haha! Die-hard fan lang ang peg! I'm a fan din naman! I like his music and I have yet to finish watching his latest series.

Last year, Rain came here and had a concert in MOA Concert Grounds. I remembered because it was a week after I gave birth. The BOS went to watch! Fan nga kasi. I bought him mosh pit tickets! I told him to take gazillion of pictures and videos so I can see and watch! And our LX3 didn't disappoint on the quality of pictures! I was expecting grainy pictures haha!

I'm sharing you some of the concert photos. Ang gwapo niya! And he dances so well!
Rain has officially started his 2-year military service yesterday. :( I will miss you, Rain! I shall see you in two years!

Biting Spree II

Y's teething yet again. But this time, yaya is not the victim. ME.

One of the things to expect when breastfeeding a 13-month old who's also teething, is biting after nursing! And it hurts. Hurts more than the first two weeks of breastfeeding! :(

Y bit me a few days before I left for Hong Kong but that didn't hurt. It bled but I was ok the day after. A week ago, she bit me again. This time, she bit it hard, it really hurt, and it left a wound. It hurts when I pump or feed her, I endured the pain. I didn't have my Medela Lanolin, I gave it to my sister, so I used Indigo Baby's Jar of Hope instead and it saved me!

Y's still tries to bite me every now and then, I gently say NO to her. And don't let her feed anymore. Once I tried letting her feed again, she just tried to bite me again. Sometimes she listens to me, sometimes she just gave me her evil laugh, smirk, or smile. Then I forget the pain of her bite.

More on teething here.

Shoe Love!

What's with me and this shoe addiction lately?! Hmmm...

Last Friday, one of my favorite local shoes brand Anthology started its special sale on AVA. I was literally waiting for the countdown on the site so I can get first dibs. Then while trying to put shoes in my cart and checking out, I keep on getting an error! My cart was full of shoes I didn't even put in my cart. Major bug issues! So I gave up! The style I liked didn't have my size so I didn't push my luck anymore. (I checked again yesterday, their site is OK already!)

This week, another sale on another local shoe brand, Suelas!
